We also offer an internship program for students that have completed high school.
Part of the internship includes working with all of our ministries as well as helping to host short-term teams that come to the country.
As an intern you will receive a week of training in urban ministry in a cross-cultural context and then spend the rest of your time putting into practice what you have learned.
Short-Term Opportunities
Part of our vision for YWAM El Salvador is utilizing short-term teams to grow our long-term vision in El Salvador. We host teams from churches, schools, and organizations who are interested in spending a week or two serving in the country of El Salvador.
Options for short-term missions can include orphanage work, homeless ministry, food and clothing distribution, construction work, street evangelism, medical missions, and working with local schools and churches.
The cost for a short-term trip to El Salvador starts at $300/person for a week. This price includes food, lodging, and ground transportation. Each group is responsible for obtaining their own airfare.
