Bible Project

Bible Project

20% of the Salvadorian population claims to be evangelical Christian, and this seems like a good percentage. But on seeing the statistics of crime, El Salvador is categorized as one of the most violent countries in our current time.

This brings us to think that something is wrong, and with much conviction we can say that El Salvador is definitely an evangelized country but sadly, not a discipled one.

Less than 8% read the Bible, and even though they know it to be the Word of God, El Salvador doesn’t have the habit of reading it.

We believe in the transforming power that the Word of God has, “Because the word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

For this reason, we are uniting ourselves to the vision of YWAM International to give a Bible to every family on the earth.

Many nations have already been working on this project and we feel that it is time to join them. So that along with different churches, we will be able to approach families and when we give them the Bible be able to share the transforming power of it, if we take it as the Word of God.

Our goal is to give out 2,000,000 Bibles to families in El Salvador.
