Our literacy program, called “Ezra Ministry” began in 2018 with around 10 students. In partnership with the Department of Education, students are offered the chance to learn to read and write and even graduate with a diploma from their respective grades. The aim of this ministry is to open the door of opportunity to members of the community, regardless of their age. Many, due to obstacles in life, dropped out of school at a young age and never learned to read or write, thus limiting job opportunities and causing difficulty when helping their children with homework. Through “Ezra Ministry” God is providing them a chance to make their dreams a reality and learn this necessary life skill.
