The King's Table
It is a feeding program that takes place three days a week for children, adolescents and the elderly in a community in El Salvador. About 90 people participate, receiving a healthy lunch. Each plate includes protein, vegetables, fruit and a starch.
Some mothers from the community, along with YWAM staff and volunteers, help prepare meals, wash dishes and serve the children. Through the program, we hope to do more than just fill hungry stomachs. We also want to fill hungry hearts with the love of Jesus. In addition to receiving a plate of food, each child has the opportunity to spend more time with our staff and volunteers where they continue to hear about Jesus, wash their hands and give thanks.
To see physically and emotionally healthy people with the necessary capabilities to perform in every area of their lives.
Serve the community Monday through Friday.
